We want to travel from Kampot to Battambang in 1 day in December. Do you have any suggestions?
Hi Alison, quite a long journey to cross in one day, but not impossible. You can book one bus ticket to Phnom Penh and a second one to Siem Reap, with which you will arrive around 18:00 in the eve. From here you can take a taxi ($40) that will bring you in about 2.5hrs to Battambang. Alternatively, you can take a taxi to Sihanoukville Airport from Kampot ($40), take a flight to Siem Reap and continue by one of the afternoon buses or taxi to Battambang.
