That’s quite an adventure, Josi! You already have great destinations in your itinerary with amazing beaches. If you’re into snorkelling, consider visiting Apo Island near Dumaguete. This island is known for its diverse coral reefs and marine life, and you’ll even get to swim with turtles.
A day trip is enough to explore this small island. If you want to stay the night, there are very few accommodations with basic amenities.
To reach Apo Island, you can either hire a private boat from Siquijor or take the public ferry from Siquijor to Dumaguete. Apo Island is just a short boat ride from Malatapay Port near Dumaguete city.
After your Apo Island trip, you can head back to Cebu by bus + ferry from Dumaguete. We’ve shared the ferries available on the Siquijor to Cebu via Dumaguete section on our page. I hope you have a wonderful time in the Philippines!
