Hoi An to Dalat by Bus
All buses from Hoi An to Dalat go via Nha Trang and do not go straight to Dalat. This makes it quite a long journey that will take between 14 and 19.5 hours, depending on the driver.
We recommend booking with Hanh Cafe or Sinh Tourist bus since these are both well-known companies. Note that although An Phu Travel has the fastest travel time, it doesn’t receive the best reviews.
When we traveled this route ourselves, we booked a bus that left at 19:00 from Hoi An and was supposed to arrive around 10:00 in Dalat. Somehow, the bus driver managed to arrive 3 hours earlier (at 7:00) in Dalat.
Luckily, we arrived all well and safe, but bear in mind that this is definitely not the safest option. For this reason, we recommend travelling by plane or train instead. The reason we traveled by bus was that it was ‘Tet Holiday’ and all train tickets and flights to Dalat were fully booked.
