2 ways to get from Kep to Phnom Penh
We recommend taking the bus since this is a comfortable and cheap option. The bus journey takes about 3-4 hours, depending on the company you book with.
If you are travelling in a group or prefer to arrive at the doorstep of your hotel, you can also book a taxi. Taxi fares start from $40.
We do not recommend travelling by train, because this option takes much longer than needed. The journey to the nearest railway station takes 30 minutes and another 5-6 hours to travel from this railway station in Kampot to Phnom Penh.
