Capitol Tours

Capital Tours operates larger buses than the three companies above.

They provide 13 trips on a daily basis for $7. Tickets cannot be booked online, but need to be bought at the Captial Tour office the day before departure.

Take in mind that the bus sometimes takes several stops along the way, making the journey last longer. Their buses leave from Capitol Guesthouse, near Orussey Market.

 

Taxi

Taxi from Phnom Penh to Battambang


Duration: 5 – 6 hours
Costs: $60 – $175

Traveling via taxi is a great option if you are traveling with more people. You can hail one on the street from $60, but you might need some negotiating skills to get this rate.
