We recommend taking the flight from Ho Chi Minh to Phu Quoc since it only takes 1 hour. From Phu Quoc Airport, you can reach the city center in 10 to 15 minutes.
We do not recommend to travel by bus and ferry since this will take at least 10 hours when you include transfer time. Still want to take the bus and ferry? Book a bus to Rach Gia harbour and take the ferry from here to Phu Quoc Island.
When travelling from the Mekong Delta, the ferry can be more convenient than travelling back to Ho Chi Minh and taking a flight.
Step 1: Ho Chi Minh City Center to Ho Chi Minh Airport by Bus
Duration: 45min Cost: 40,000 VND ($1.70)
Ho Chi Minh Airport is located 45 minutes from the city center. We recommend taking the shuttle bus (also called the airport bus) to the airport. Tickets only cost 40,000 VND ($1.70) and the buses offer a good level of comfort.

The property is a bit far off, but in exchange, you'll get an experience to never forget and will be rewarded with amazing sunsets!
