Mui Ne to Nha Trang by Train
When travelling by train from Mui Ne to Nha Trang, you are to depart from Binh Thuan Railway Station (formerly called Muong Man).
Don’t confuse this with Phan Thiet Railway Station, which is closer to Mui Ne and is the town’s main train station.
Step 1: Mui Ne to Binh Thuan by Bus or taxi
You can find Binh Thuan Railway Station some 40 km west of Mui Ne Beach. To get there from your hotel, you can take a bus or a taxi.
If you’re staying anywhere near the main road, we recommend taking Bus #9. This bus passes by Mui Ne, through Phan Thiet and then Binh Thuan Railway Station. It’s quite convenient and you can get a ticket for around 35,000 VND ($1.30).

Alternatively, you can just hail a taxi for around 500,000 VND ($19).
Step 2: Binh Thuan to Nha Trang by Train
There are several trains operating daily from Binh Thuan to Nha Trang. However, most trains depart at night, meaning you’ll arrive in the middle of the night in Nha Trang.
For a safer and more convenient journey, we recommend one of the two trains that depart during the day. Train fares start from 224,000 VND ($8.50) and the journey takes around 3h 45m - 5h.
Trains depart from Binh Thuan Railway Station.
You are to get off at Nha Trang Railway Station. Depending on your hotel’s location, you can get there on foot or via a short taxi ride.

The bus is an affordable way to get from Mui Ne to Nha Trang, although not as safe or comfortable as the train.
Bus fares start from 284,000 VND ($11) and the journey takes around 3h 55m - 9h 30m.

Step 1: Mui Ne to North Phan Thiet Bus Station by Bus or Taxi
North Phan Thiet Bus Station is 25 km away from Mui Ne Beach.
You can get there via Bus #9, but only if your bus to Nha Trang is departing before 18:00. A bus ticket costs 35,000 VND ($1.30).
If your bus is departing late at night, the only way to get to the bus station is by taxi. Fares start from 350,000 VND ($13).

Step 2: Phan Thiet to Nha Trang by Bus
Several bus companies are operating from Phan Thiet to Nha Trang. Kumho Samco is a popular bus operator from Mui Ne to Nha Trang. Its sleeper bus departs past midnight and arrives early morning in Nha Trang.
You might still be able to get a bit of sleep during the journey that takes 2h 55m - 8h 30m. A ticket costs 247,000 VND ($9.40).
Kumho Samco buses depart from North Phan Thiet Bus Station.
They arrive at the Central Bus Station in Nha Trang, some 7 km west of Nha Trang Beach. You can take a short taxi ride to get to your hotel.
