How to get from Nha Trang to Mui Ne?

Taking the bus from Nha Trang to Mui Ne is the easiest and cheapest option. The bus will pick you up in the center of Nha Trang and drop you off in the center of Mui Ne.

The train takes the same time as the bus but includes another ride from Binh Thuan railway station to Mui Ne. Since there are no buses from this railways station to Mui Ne, you have to take the taxi which takes one hour and cost around 500.000 VDN (€19).

We recommend ‘Sinh Tourist’ and ‘Hanh Cafe’, since these buses depart from the center of Nha Trang and drop you off at the main street in Mui Ne.

You can ask the bus driver if they can drop you off at your accommodation if it’s on the main street of Mui Ne.

We recommend booking one of the two morning buses leaving at 7:15 or 8:00. When you take the evening bus, you will arrive in the middle of the night in Mui Ne.

Train + Taxi from Nha Trang to Mui Ne

Duration: 5 hours
Costs: 142.000 VND (€5,50) +  taxi (+/-€20)

The closest railway station to Mui Ne is Phan Thiet Railway station, but this station is not connected with Nha Trang.

The only option you have if you want to travel by train is to take a train to Binh Thuan railway station (also named Muong Man railway station). From Muong Man, you have to take a taxi which costs about 500.000 VND (€19). This taxi ride takes about 1 hour.

Step 2: Taxi from Muong Man to Mui Ne

Duration: 1 hour
Costs: 500.000 VND (€19)

There are no buses from this station to Mui Ne so your only option is to get a taxi. This taxi will cost at least 500.000 VND (€19) and takes about 1 hour.
