From Nha Trang, you can catch one of the night trains leaving for Hoi An at either 19:48 or 23:13. The railway station in Nha Trang is just a 10-min walk from the city center. All buses from DaLat to Hoi An go via Nha Trang. This makes the journey quite long. Depending on the driver, the bus ride can take between 12 and 17 hours. (Yes this time difference is huge. And that’s why we keep telling buses are not the safest option!)
When you decide to travel by bus, we recommend travelling with Hanh Cafe because they are a very trusted company in Vietnam.
