We recommend taking the train from Quy Nhon to Nha Trang. This is a very convenient way of travelling since both Quy Nhon and Nha Trang railway stations are located in the city center. Keep in mind that there is only one train that operates on this route daily. Alternatively, you can take the train from Dieu Tri which is 30 minutes from Quy Nhon center.
We prefer the train as this is a safer and very convenient option. The bus is less safe and it is hard to find a good bus ticket. There is a bus that you can book online. But with this, you still have to take a taxi to Nha Trang center. This makes this option even more expensive than the train.
There is an airport (Phu Cat) about a 1-hour drive from Quy Nhon, but there are no direct flights to Nha Trang. Taking an indirect flight will be much more expensive and take even longer than the train or bus.
