We recommend travelling from Quy Nhon to Nha Trang by train. It’s more convenient and cheaper than taking the bus.

Step 1: Quy Nhon to Dieu Tri Railway Station

Although there is a train station in Quy Nhon, this isn’t part of the Reunification Express Line. This means that trains operating from Quy Nhon to Nha Trang don’t depart from Quy Nhon Railway Station, but from the nearby Dieu Tri Train Station.

Dieu Tri is located some 10 km west of Quy Nhon city centre. You can get there by hailing Bus T22 from the bus stop along Le Duan St., near Coopmart in Quy Nhon centre. A ticket costs around 30 minutes for the journey that takes $0.80 (20,000 VND).

Alternatively, you can take a taxi for around $7.60 (200,000 VND), depending on your hotel’s location.

Step 2: Dieu Tri to Nha Trang by Train

Is there also a bus going from Bai Xep to Nha Trang?

Hi Alex,

Since Bai Xep is just a little village and not visited that often, there are no direct buses from Bai Xep to Nha Trang or to other big cities. You will first have to take the local bus or taxi to Quy Nhon bus station, which will take about 15 minutes. From here you can continue your journey to Nha Trang.
