Nha Trang is a high-rise resort town in southeast Vietnam. Its sandy coast is regarded as one of the most beautiful bays in the world — thanks to its crescent-shaped white sand beach and clear turquoise waters.

4 ways to get from Quy Nhon to Nha Trang
There are 4 ways to travel the distance of 210 kilometers (130 miles) from Quy Nhon to Nha Trang by bus (3 hours 30 minutes to 5 hours 15 minutes), shared Minivan (4 hours), private Transport (3 hours to 4 hours 15 minutes) and train (4 hours 10 minutes to 4 hours 45 minutes). The journey duration ranges between 3 hours to 5 hours 15 minutes and the quickest way is by private transport. Quy Nhon to Nha Trang by Train
We recommend travelling from Quy Nhon to Nha Trang by train. It’s more convenient and cheaper than taking the bus.
Step 1: Quy Nhon to Dieu Tri Railway Station
Although there is a train station in Quy Nhon, this isn’t part of the Reunification Express Line. This means that trains operating from Quy Nhon to Nha Trang don’t depart from Quy Nhon Railway Station, but from the nearby Dieu Tri Train Station.
Dieu Tri is located some 10 km west of Quy Nhon city centre. You can get there by hailing Bus T22 from the bus stop along Le Duan St., near Coopmart in Quy Nhon centre. A ticket costs around 30 minutes for the journey that takes 20,000 VND (€0.70).
Alternatively, you can take a taxi for around 200,000 VND (€7.30), depending on your hotel’s location.
Step 2: Dieu Tri to Nha Trang by Train
There are 5 trains operating daily from Quy Nhon to Nha Trang via Dieu Tri. Train fares start from 130,000 VND (€4.80) for a soft seat. Sleeper berths are also available for higher prices.
The train journey to Nha Trang Railway Station takes around 3h 42m - 4h 17m. You can find this station 2 km west of the main beach.
Quy Nhon to Nha Trang by Bus
There are a couple of buses available daily from Quy Nhon to Nha Trang.
Travel time takes around 3 hours 30 minutes to 5 hours 15 minutes, depending on which bus you take. Ticket prices start from €9.30.
An Phu Travel, Ha Linh, Quang Hanh, Thanh Thuy and Thuan Tam are the main bus operators from Quy Nhon to Nha Trang. We recommend travelling with Ha Linh because their buses depart and arrive near the centre of both cities.
Departure stations
Thanh Thuy, on the other hand, departs 8 km northwest of Quy Nhon city centre. The taxi ride to get to its bus station in Quy Nhon will cost around 200,000 VND (€7.30).

Ha Linh parks at its office in Nha Trang, 2 km west of the main beach.
Thanh Thuy arrives at Cafe Pho Man, 8 km north of Nha Trang city centre.

Is there also a bus going from Bai Xep to Nha Trang?
Hi Alex,
Since Bai Xep is just a little village and not visited that often, there are no direct buses from Bai Xep to Nha Trang or to other big cities. You will first have to take the local bus or taxi to Quy Nhon bus station, which will take about 15 minutes. From here you can continue your journey to Nha Trang.
