Finding a van at Siargao Airport is as easy as finding a place to rent a surfboard around Cloud 9. As soon as you step out of the arrival hall, you’ll see van drivers waiting and offering rides straight to your accommodation.

They all charge the same fixed price of 300 PHP ($5.10) from Siargao Airport to General Luna, the island’s tourist centre.

The van journey to General Luna takes about 1 hour. Most drivers wait until the van is full before leaving, so you might have to hang around a bit.

Taking a motorbike taxi is an option if you prefer a more adventurous transfer between Siargao Airport and General Luna. These motorbike taxis are locally known as habal-habal. They use regular motorbike units, so don’t expect anything too comfortable or fancy. Still, they’ll get you straight to your hotel.
