Travelling by bus from Nha Trang to DaLat takes 1 hour longer compared to taking a minivan.
With ticket prices from 262,000 VND ($10), the bus is only slightly cheaper. We don’t think the savings is worth the comfort and speed you’ll otherwise get with a minivan ride.
But if you still want to take the bus, several companies operate on this route every day.
Departure and arrival station
Buses depart from Nha Trang Central Bus Station, which you can find 7 km west of the city centre.
They park at Dalat Interprovincial Bus Terminal, some 3 km southeast of the town centre.

Which limo van to take?
We recommend travelling with Lac Hong Luxury Minivan because it gets very good reviews. Their drivers are highly-praised for good and safe driving, while their vans are known to be clean and comfortable. Also, they offer free hotel pick-up in Nha Trang.
Lac Hong offers 4 trips daily. And on weekends, tickets sell out fast. So it’s best to book a ticket with Lac Hong at least a week in advance!
We’ve only heard about good experiences with Lac Hong so far and that’s why we recommend booking with Lac Hong if you want to travel by van from Nha Trang to DaLat.
Note: One other popular company operating on this route is Catthienhai Travel. However, we have received several complaints about this company and that is why we DO NOT recommend booking with Catthienhai Travel.
Departure and arrival station
Lac Hong offers free hotel pick-up in Nha Trang and parks at its office in Dalat, 2km west of Xuan Huong Lake in the city centre. You can walk or take a short taxi ride to your hotel.
Cuc Tung departs from Nha Trang Central Bus Station, 7 km west of the main beach. It arrives at Dalat Interprovincial Bus Station, which you can find 2km south of Xuan Huong Lake.
